Chapter 47: CRIMSON OBSESSION

Chaos Unleashed

The city awoke to a nightmare.

Every news channel, every social media platform, every newspaper screamed the same thing—murder, bloodshed, and a name carved into infamy. The gruesome death of a beloved actress, her final moments broadcasted to thousands, had set the world ablaze with terror and speculation.

The media latched onto the horror like leeches, dissecting every second of the live-streamed event. Experts debated, journalists theorized, and the police scrambled to control the hysteria. The message scrawled in blood had been erased from official reports, but leaked images ensured the whole world knew:

“Touch what’s mine, and I’ll make the whole world bleed.”

The police had locked down the crime scene, officers moving in coordinated chaos, their faces pale with disbelief. Seoul’s top officials called for immediate action. Detectives worked tirelessly, but they had nothing—no suspect, no solid evidence, just a room full of horror and a camera that had seen too much, yet too little.

The public reeled. Was it a warning? A personal vendetta? Or something much, much worse?

Meanwhile…

Jungkook leaned back in his chair, sipping a glass of whiskey, the amber liquid catching the dim lights of the penthouse. Across from him, Taehyung sat, still stained with remnants of his kill, his smirk lazy, pleased.

“Nice touch,” Jungkook murmured, swirling his drink. “You really know how to send a message.”

Taehyung chuckled, dragging his tongue across his lower lip. “She deserved worse.”

Jungkook tilted his head, observing him. “And yet, you didn’t rush. You made sure they heard her screams. You wanted them to remember.”

Taehyung met his gaze, something dark flashing behind his eyes. “I don’t just kill, Jungkook. I make history.”

Jungkook smirked. “You enjoy the chaos.”

“And you enjoy watching me create it.”

Jungkook exhaled, running a hand through his hair. “The police are lost. They have nothing except a city trembling in fear.”

Taehyung placed his drink down, leaning forward. “Then let’s keep them trembling.”

Their Next Move

The world was already panicking. It was time to push harder.

In the dead of night, another body was found—this time, a high-ranking politician with connections to underground dealings. His body was slumped in his office chair, his throat slit clean, but no cameras, no recordings. Only a single playing card left on his desk.

The Joker.

The media barely had time to breathe before another storm erupted. Two murders, vastly different, yet equally shocking. The connection? None. Except for the fact that they both disrupted power structures.

Fear seeped deeper. The police worked overtime, but the whispers in the underground grew louder.

A new war had begun.

And in the eye of the storm, Taehyung and Jungkook watched, smirking, as the world trembled beneath their fingertips.
