CHAPTER 21 TO 30 || BOUND AND TORN BY PROPHECIES
Chapter 21: The Chosen Bond
The air in the cave was tense, thick with anticipation. King
Caelum and Queen Luria stepped back, giving Jungkook space to move forward.
Their glowing blue eyes shimmered in the dim light as they gestured for her to
approach the trunk containing the five eggs.
“Go on,” King Caelum said in his steady voice. “Take a step
forward. Wait to see if any of them react to your presence.”
Jungkook hesitated, glancing back at Yoongi for reassurance.
Yoongi gave him a small nod, his expression filled with encouragement. Jungkook
swallowed hard and took a few cautious steps forward. His movements were slow,
unsure, but as he neared the eggs, a sudden cracking sound broke the silence.
The room froze.
Three of the eggs began to creak and shift, their surfaces
trembling as fissures spread across them. Jungkook’s eyes widened in shock, his
breath hitching. Queen Luria let out a joyful squeal, her excitement palpable.
“Three of them!” she exclaimed. “Three of them have chosen Jungkook!”
The first egg to fully break was the white one. Pieces of
shell scattered onto the mattress as a pure white baby dragon emerged, its
shimmering scales reflecting the soft light of the cave. The tiny creature
stretched its wings and took flight, wobbling unsteadily in the air. Jungkook
instinctively reached out, catching the dragon in her palm as it nearly fell.
The dragon looked up at her with large, crystalline eyes,
and Jungkook felt an inexplicable warmth fill her chest. King Caelum stepped
closer, his voice filled with awe. “That is a male crystal dragon,” he said.
“It can hold the power of water, ice, snow, and most importantly, lightning and
thunder.”
Jungkook stared at the tiny creature in his palm,
mesmerized. The dragon’s scales shimmered like frost-covered glass, and its
presence was both delicate and powerful. Jungkook gently stroked its head,
marvelling at the bond forming between them.
The second egg cracked, its vibrant green surface splitting
apart as a clumsy, green-scaled dragon emerged. It stumbled forward, its tiny
legs wobbly as it approached the edge of the trunk. Yoongi’s instincts kicked
in, and he hurriedly reached out, scooping the dragon into his hands before it
could fall.
The green dragon let out a soft trill, rubbing its head
affectionately against Yoongi’s hand. Queen Luria’s lips curved into a smile,
her voice light-hearted as she spoke. “That is a female earth dragon,” she
said. “Unlike most dragons, she does not breathe fire in the beginning, but
will start to do so with time. Instead, her specialty is unique. She controls
plants, trees, and branches. She can even communicate with them.”
Queen Luria’s laugh was soft and melodic as she added, “It
seems she likes you, Yoongi. The way she’s rubbing her head against your hand
is quite telling.”
Yoongi stared at the dragon, his expression a mix of awe and
disbelief. “She… she likes me?” he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. He
stroked her small head gently, his heart swelling with an emotion he couldn’t
quite place.
The golden egg cracked last, its shell breaking apart to
reveal a magnificent golden dragon with piercing blue eyes. The creature
stretched its wings, its scales gleaming like molten metal. A gasp escaped
Commander Alaric’s lips as he took a step forward, his green eyes wide with
astonishment. “A golden dragon…” he whispered. “I’ve never seen anything like
it.”
None of them had. The golden dragon was breathtaking, her
presence radiating power and majesty. She locked eyes with Jungkook, her gaze
steady and unyielding.
King Caelum’s voice carried a note of pride as he explained,
“This is a female golden dragon. She is unlike any other. Her power is
unique—she possesses the ability to bind her soul with another. If she chooses
to bond with you, Jungkook, you will become almost like us.”
His gaze softened as he continued, “The difference is that
our dragons live within us, coming out only when needed. But she will always
have her own body, separate from yours. It will be as if you share one soul but
have two bodies. Her pain will be your pain. If one of you dies, the other will
follow. She is not simply a dragon; she will be a part of you.”
Queen Luria’s voice joined his, filled with tenderness. “The
other two dragons will be like children to you, but she… she will be you. You
will be raising yourself in dragon form.”
The weight of the revelations settled over everyone in the
room. Yoongi and Jungkook were utterly speechless, their minds racing as they
tried to process everything they had just heard. The three dragons, each unique
and powerful, had chosen Jungkook. It was a moment neither of them could have
ever imagined.
Yoongi broke the silence, his face splitting into a wide
grin as he hugged Jungkook tightly. “I knew it!” he exclaimed, his voice
trembling with joy. “I always knew! You’re amazing, Kook. I’m so happy.”
Jungkook laughed softly, his expression warm as she hugged Yoongi
back. “You’re thinking too much again yoonie,” he teased, his tone
light-hearted despite the enormity of the moment.
King Caelum stepped forward, his expression serious yet
hopeful. “The eggs have already begun to awaken. We are confident that they
will hatch fully soon.”
Everyone nodded, the excitement mingling with a lingering
sense of disbelief. The cave, once a place of mystery, had now become the
starting point of a destiny none of them could have foreseen.
Chapter 22: The Naming and the New Beginning
After their eventful trip to the cave, Jungkook, Yoongi, and the queen
returned to their chamber with the three newly hatched dragons in tow. The tiny
creatures were full of energy, their wings flapping as they zoomed around the
room, teasing Bam mercilessly. The poor dog barked and chased after them, but
the little dragons had already learned how to fly just high enough to stay out
of his reach. They were mischievous and bratty, but it was clear they were
enjoying each other’s company.
Yoongi and Jungkook sat on the bed, throwing out random names while watching
the chaos unfold before them.
“How about Snowy for the white one?” Yoongi suggested.
Jungkook shook his head. “Too common. He’s the only boy here; he needs
something cooler.”
Yoongi hummed. “Then what about Spark? Since his scales shimmer like ice.”
Jungkook smiled, looking at the little white dragon, who was currently
trying to pounce on Bam’s wagging tail. “Spark… I like it.”
“For the green one, she’s all about nature, right?” Jungkook mused. “Maybe
something soft, like Ivy or Flora?”
Yoongi wrinkled his nose. “Too soft. She’s already proved she’s got
attitude.” He glanced at the emerald dragon, who had just smacked Bam’s nose
with her tail playfully. “What about Niki?”
“Niki… yeah, that suits her.” Jungkook nodded in approval.
Finally, they both turned toward the golden dragon, who was sitting proudly
in the middle of the room, watching the other two with intelligent blue eyes.
“She’s different,” Yoongi murmured. “She’s… special.”
Jungkook smiled fondly. “Then she needs a name that feels grand but also
warm.” He thought for a moment before his eyes lit up. “Mili.”
Yoongi tilted his head. “Mili?”
Jungkook nodded. “It just feels… right.”
The golden dragon chirped in what almost sounded like approval, walking
toward Jungkook and nudging his hand.
“Mili it is, then,” Yoongi chuckled.
By now, the king had already left with the commander, stating that he would
inform the guards to arrange proper accommodations for them. However, the queen
remained with them, observing the interactions between the dragons and their
new caretakers with a pleased expression.
Once the names were decided, the queen addressed them. “Now that these
dragons have chosen you, you must raise and train them. This will strengthen
your bond, and in time, they will become powerful protectors. The commander
will oversee your training sessions and guide you on how to properly care for
them.”
Jungkook and Yoongi nodded in agreement.
The queen then continued, “New chambers are being arranged for both of you.
Since Jungkook’s presence has triggered the hatching process, the royal eggs
will be moved into his chamber to speed up their awakening. Bam may stay in
either a separate chamber or in Yoongi’s room.”
Jungkook and Yoongi exchanged a look before Yoongi shrugged. “Bam’s been
with me just as much as he’s been with Jungkook. He can stay with me for now.”
The queen smiled at their understanding. Soon, everything was arranged, and
they were led to a separate chamber where a large makeshift bed had been
prepared with dried grass and soft crops, similar to the nests they had seen in
the cave. This was where the baby dragons would settle.
But, of course, the dragons had other plans.
Instead of settling down, they were darting around the room, knocking things
over and playing with anything they could get their claws on. Jungkook and Yoongi
could only watch helplessly as Spark tackled Niki, who retaliated by wrapping a
vine around him from a nearby plant. Mili sat smugly in the middle, flapping
her wings just enough to avoid Bam’s half-hearted attempts to catch her.
Then, a sudden, loud bark echoed through the room.
Instantly, the baby dragons froze in place.
Jungkook and Yoongi’s eyes widened as they watched all three dragons meekly
settle onto the makeshift bed, folding their wings neatly as if they had never
caused trouble in the first place.
Jungkook blinked. “Did… did Bam just discipline them?”
Yoongi let out a laugh. “I think he did.”
An idea sparked in Jungkook’s mind. He turned to Bam. “Do you want to stay
here and watch over these little troublemakers?”
Bam let out a low bark, as if agreeing to the responsibility.
Yoongi smirked. “Well, if you ever want to find us, Bam, you know where our
new chambers are.”
Bam gave a louder bark in response, wagging his tail before settling himself
down on the bed beside the three dragons, who were already curling up around
him.
Jungkook couldn’t help but smile as he watched the unusual yet heartwarming
sight. With the baby dragons settled and Bam keeping an eye on them, they
finally left for their own chambers.
Upon reaching his new room, Jungkook’s eyes widened in amazement. It was
larger than anything he had ever known, its walls adorned with intricate
carvings of dragons and ancient markings. But what truly caught his attention
was the small bed placed beside his own.
On it rested the two royal eggs.
As he approached, a soft sound filled the air—like a faint heartbeat. His
breath hitched, his fingers gently hovering over the eggshells.
Murmuring to himself about the mysterious nature of these eggs, he lay down
on his bed, his mind still racing with everything that had happened today.
But as he closed his eyes, the soft heartbeat of the eggs lulled him into
sleep, like the melody of a gentle lullaby.
Chapter 23: Sleepless Nights and Mischievous
Dragons
It had been more than a month since the baby dragons had hatched, and in
that time, Jungkook and Yoongi had learned one painful truth—raising dragons
was exhausting.
A week had passed since either of them had slept properly. From the very
first night, the moment they had finally settled into their new chambers, a
strange sound had echoed in their heads.
A high-pitched, pitiful crying.
Jungkook had groggily sat up in bed, eyes still half-closed, wondering if he
was dreaming. But the cries only grew louder. A moment later, a loud bang
came from his door, and an equally sleep-deprived Yoongi stumbled inside, his
hair a mess, his eyes barely open.
“Jungkook… what the hell is that?” Yoongi groaned, rubbing his temples. “Why
do I hear screaming in my head?”
Jungkook blinked. “You hear it too?”
The cries continued, an almost desperate hunger
filling their heads. Both of them immediately realized what was happening—the
dragons.
Still half-asleep, they rushed to the chamber where the three baby dragons
were supposed to be resting peacefully. Instead, they found chaos. Mili, Niki,
and Spark were sprawled out, making the most dramatic wailing noises possible,
flailing their tiny wings like they were dying.
Jungkook and Yoongi stood there, dumbfounded.
Yoongi rubbed his face. “They’re crying… because they’re hungry?”
Mili let out another loud cry in response, proving his theory correct.
Completely lost on what to do, Jungkook called for a nearby guard, who then
summoned the commander. The moment the head guard arrived, looking far more
composed than the sleep-deprived boys, they both turned to him expectantly.
“Why are they screaming?!” Yoongi whined.
The commander sighed as if this was the most obvious thing in the world.
“They are hungry.”
Jungkook and Yoongi exchanged a look. No shit.
The commander continued, “You need to feed them every three to four hours
for the first month. The food has already been prepared and stored in their
chamber for convenience.”
Jungkook’s jaw nearly hit the floor. “Every three
hours?!”
Yoongi groaned loudly. “You mean to tell me we have to wake up every few
hours just to feed them?! Are they babies or bottomless pits?”
The commander only nodded. “That is how dragons are in their early stages.
You should also know that only you can hear their cries from far away. Others
will only hear them if they are close.”
Jungkook frowned. “But why does Yoongi hear them too? I thought they only
chose me?”
The commander tilted his head. “They may have chosen you first, but it is
clear they have also accepted both of you… and possibly even Bam. That is why
their calls reach you all.”
Yoongi groaned dramatically. “So, you’re saying I’m also doomed?”
The commander merely smiled. “You could say that.”
With no choice, the boys grabbed the prepared food and began feeding the
hungry dragons. As expected, once their bellies were full, they curled up and
dozed off instantly.
Yoongi stared at them in disbelief. “I swear, I have never been so envious
of someone’s ability to sleep this quickly.”
Jungkook chuckled. “They’re just babies.”
“They’re demons,” Yoongi corrected.
“Bratty, tiny, loud demons.”
And thus began their sleepless nightmare.
For weeks, every few hours, the cries returned, pulling them out of whatever
little sleep they could get. Yoongi, already known for being grumpy in the
mornings, had reached new levels of irritation. He muttered complaints under
his breath every single time they had to
wake up, yet despite all his whining, he never once refused to help.
But then something surprising happened.
One morning, as they groggily made their way to the dragons’ chamber for
another round of feeding, they found an unexpected sight.
The dragons weren’t crying.
Instead, they were huddled together, lazily munching on the food by
themselves.
Jungkook blinked. “Wait… they’re eating on their own?”
The commander, who had been waiting for this moment, stepped forward. “Yes.
Unlike humans, dragons grow rapidly in their first twenty-five years. For every
month that passes, they age by a year. That is why they are already learning to
take care of themselves.”
Yoongi let out a choked sound. “You mean to tell me we
could have been sleeping peacefully all week?!”
The commander smirked slightly. “Not quite. They will still need you to feed
them sometimes, but only when they decide to act out.”
Jungkook sighed in relief. “At least we won’t have to wake up every
night anymore.”
And just as he said that, Spark flapped his wings and knocked over the food
bowl, spilling it everywhere.
Jungkook groaned. “Or… maybe not.”
The days that followed proved that just because the dragons were growing
quickly, it didn’t mean they were maturing just as fast. They were getting bolder.
Niki discovered that she could control
plants, which meant vines and branches were constantly sneaking up on Jungkook
and Yoongi, tripping them or tangling around their feet.
Spark, meanwhile, took great joy in practicing his flying skills—directly
above their heads. On more than one occasion, he dive-bombed
Yoongi’s head just for fun.
And Mili? She had developed an obsession
with Jungkook’s bed, claiming it as her own, no matter how many times he tried
to remove her.
One night, after hours of chasing them around and trying to get them to eat,
Yoongi finally snapped. When Spark refused to
eat his food and instead tried to freeze the bowl with his ice breath, Yoongi
reached out and pulled his ear.
The room went silent.
Mili and Niki sat down instantly, eyes wide, as if realizing Oh
no, we went too far.
Jungkook? He nearly fell over from laughing.
Yoongi crossed his arms, looking down at Spark, who was now sulking. “You
will eat your food, and you will stop freezing
everything.”
Spark huffed but ultimately obeyed, finally eating his meal.
Jungkook wiped away a tear of laughter. “Yoongi, you’re like a grumpy
grandpa disciplining his grandkids.”
Yoongi shot him a glare. “Shut up, Jungkook.”
But even he couldn’t hide the tiny smile on his lips.
Despite the sleepless nights, the endless chaos, and the near-constant
mischief, one thing was clear—
They wouldn’t trade this for anything.
Chapter 24: The Awakening Begins
After leaving the baby dragons under Bam’s watchful eye, Jungkook and Yoongi
lay sprawled out in Jungkook’s chamber, exhausted yet restless. The weight of
responsibility pressed down on them, their minds buzzing with everything that
had happened in the past month.
“They’re getting too strong,” Jungkook murmured, staring at the ceiling.
“They’ve already started using their powers on each other.”
Yoongi groaned, rubbing his temples. “Yeah. They’re just playing now, but
what happens when they get bigger? It could get dangerous.”
Jungkook nodded. “We need to start training them before things get out of
hand. They’ve grown so fast… they’re almost Bam’s size already, and it’s barely
been over a month.”
Yoongi sighed. “Which also means they can’t stay inside the palace anymore.”
Jungkook rolled onto his side, frowning. “Not until they’re tamed.”
The decision was clear—they would begin training the dragons tomorrow.
They would also have to discuss their living arrangements. The palace wasn’t
built for untamed dragons, and they couldn’t risk them wreaking havoc indoors.
After settling on their plan, Yoongi stretched his arms and sat up.
“Alright, I’m going to sleep before those troublemakers wake up again.”
Jungkook chuckled, watching Yoongi yawn dramatically before shuffling out of
the room. Once he was gone, Jungkook let out a deep sigh, closing his eyes. A
new challenge awaited them tomorrow.
Just as sleep was about to take him, a strange image flickered in his mind.
A shadow.
The figure of a man stood before him—taller, older, with broad shoulders and
an air of nobility. His face was obscured, but even in the darkness of his
dream, there was something ethereal about him, something regal. The man moved
with the grace of a prince walking out of a fairytale.
Then, in an instant, the figure shifted.
His body expanded, elongating into something massive. Wings burst from his
back, and with a deafening roar, he transformed into a
dragon—a dragon larger than anything Jungkook had ever seen.
The force of the roar was so powerful it seemed to shake the very earth beneath
him.
Jungkook jolted awake, his breath ragged, his heart hammering wildly against
his ribs. He sat up quickly, his body trembling from the intensity of the
vision.
What was that?
His room was dark, the palace silent, the only light coming from the moon
outside. Realizing he wouldn’t be able to sleep again so soon, he decided to
clear his mind.
Throwing on a light robe, he stepped out onto the large open balcony, his
feet barely making a sound against the cool stone floor. The sky was
breathtaking, a vast expanse of deep blue sprinkled with countless stars, the
full moon casting a soft silver glow over the mountains.
Jungkook had always loved the night sky. It reminded him of his
grandmother—how he used to talk to the stars, whispering his thoughts as if she
could hear him from wherever she was now.
“It’s been a while since I’ve talked to you, Grandma,” he murmured, his
voice barely above a whisper. “You wouldn’t believe where I am now… or what
I’ve become a part of.”
He smiled softly, thinking about the dragons, the palace, Yoongi, and Bam.
This strange world that had somehow become his home.
Then, a sound shattered the peaceful night.
A loud, ringing heartbeat.
Jungkook froze. His eyes darted toward the royal eggs, which rested in their
special cradle beside his bed. The sound was familiar—he had heard the gentle
heartbeat from the eggs before. But this time…
It was louder.
Much louder.
His heart pounded as he moved toward them, drawn to the pulsing rhythm.
Carefully, he knelt beside the eggs, hesitating before placing his hands over
them, feeling their warmth.
The heartbeat was frantic, almost as if something inside was desperate.
Jungkook frowned. “What’s happening…?”
Slowly, he ran his fingers along the smooth surface of the blue egg, hoping
to soothe whatever distress it was in. But the moment his fingertips brushed
over it—
CRACK.
Jungkook’s breath caught in his throat as he jerked his hand away. A visible
crack had formed right where he had touched it.
Panic surged through him.
Did I… break it? His mind raced. Did
I do something wrong?
His instincts screamed at him to call for help. Without wasting another
second, he scrambled to his feet and rushed to the door, flinging it open.
The guard standing outside immediately straightened. Jungkook’s voice came
out rushed, almost breathless.
“Call the King, the Queen, the Commander, and Yoongi—now!
The royal egg… the blue one… it’s cracked.”
The guard’s eyes widened, realizing the urgency of the situation. Without
hesitation, he sprinted down the corridor, his footsteps echoing through the
palace.
Jungkook swallowed hard, his eyes flickering back to the eggs. He stepped
inside cautiously, watching the trembling blue egg from a distance. Just then, Yoongi
rushed into the room, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
“What the hell, Jungkook—” Yoongi stopped mid-sentence, stepping closer. His
eyes widened as he noticed more small cracks forming. He mumbled, “Looks like
the royal blood is ready to come out.” He backed away, standing beside Jungkook,
who looked extremely nervous.
Soon, the king and queen entered, still dressed in their nightclothes,
followed closely by the commander. The queen’s eyes filled with tears as she
took in the sight of the cracks spreading across the blue egg. The king, even
while trying to maintain his composure, couldn’t hide the raw emotion on his
face.
Centuries of waiting were finally coming to an end. Their child was finally
arriving. And with him, so was the salvation of their people.
The cracks deepened, glowing faintly, and then—
CRACK.
The egg shattered completely, pieces flying across the cradle. The force was
so strong that a visible crack formed on the white egg beside it, leaving
everyone in shock.
And there, sitting amidst the broken shells, was a small dragon.
His scales were a mix of deep blue and black, his crystal-blue eyes locked directly
onto Jungkook as if he had known him forever.
The queen let out a sob, overwhelmed by emotion, while the king’s voice rang
through the chamber with triumph. “Commander! Announce it to the kingdom! The
new royal blood is breathing among us! Our heir has arrived to claim what is
rightfully his! Let the celebrations begin!”
The commander, who had been doing his best to keep his composure, nodded
quickly before leaving to deliver the long-awaited news.
Before anyone could react further, the newborn dragon opened his mouth and
released a small puff of fire—not red, but blue.
Jungkook and Yoongi’s jaws dropped.
Before the queen could reach forward to pick up her son, another loud crack
echoed through the room.
The white egg split open.
And from within, another dragon emerged—this one a beautiful shade of sky
blue, streaked with deeper shades of navy. But unlike the first, her eyes were
not blue.
They were green.
Chapter 25: A Family Complete
The king stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with unrestrained emotion as he
reached out to pick up the smaller of the two newborn dragons—the one with
striking green eyes. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he cradled her gently
in his arms. He had always wished for at least one daughter, and now, that wish
had finally come true.
The queen, tears still flowing freely, held the blue-eyed dragon close to
her chest. The little one had stopped staring at Jungkook and had now nestled
against her, small coos escaping its tiny mouth. She turned toward the king,
her voice a soft murmur.
“Our family is complete now,” she whispered, her eyes filled with warmth and
relief.
The king gave her a firm nod, his gaze locked onto the two tiny creatures.
“Yes,” he agreed. “Finally, after all these years.”
Jungkook and Yoongi watched the touching moment unfold with quiet happiness,
feeling privileged to witness such a long-awaited reunion. However, before they
could truly take in the scene, an unexpected intruder made her presence known.
Mili—the golden dragon—entered the chamber without warning. Her eyes shone
with curiosity and… recognition?
Jungkook furrowed his brows. “Mili?” he called, trying to stop her.
But Mili ignored him and walked directly toward the queen, making a soft,
melodic sound, almost as if calling out to someone. The queen tilted her head
slightly, then bowed a little, as if acknowledging Mili’s silent communication.
Jungkook and Yoongi exchanged confused glances, but before either of them
could question what was happening, Mili brought her head close to the newborn
blue dragon. For a moment, they simply stared at each other. Then, with
surprising gentleness, Mili rubbed her forehead against the baby dragon’s head
in what could only be described as a gesture of affection and recognition. It
was as if she were pampering the newborn, acknowledging its presence in a way
that was both intimate and knowing.
And just as suddenly as she had arrived, Mili turned and ran back toward her
own chamber, leaving everyone in stunned silence.
“What was that?” Yoongi asked, his voice filled with disbelief.
Jungkook had no answer, and neither did Yoongi. But the queen? She simply
smiled, a knowing expression gracing her face. The king, too, nodded in silent
agreement, as if they had come to an understanding that the younger ones had
yet to grasp.
Jungkook hesitated before stepping forward. His hands, almost instinctively,
reached out to pet both newborns. The response was immediate—both tiny dragons
melted under his touch, cooing softly in contentment.
“They’ve already grown attached to you,” the queen observed fondly.
Jungkook exhaled, his heart full but his mind still clouded with questions.
“You should name them,” he said, looking at the king and queen. “They’re your
children.”
The king, however, shook his head with a smirk. “You have already named the
older one.”
Jungkook blinked. “What? No, I didn’t.”
Yoongi suddenly let out a knowing chuckle. “Yes, you did.”
Jungkook turned to him with furrowed brows. “When?”
Yoongi crossed his arms, a teasing glint in his eyes. “The first time we saw
the royal eggs, you were almost hypnotized before you passed out. You mumbled a
name then.”
The memory was vague, but something inside Jungkook stirred. “What… name?”
“Taehyung,” Yoongi answered with certainty. “Or something like that.”
Jungkook opened his mouth to protest, but before he could, the queen and
king exchanged a look and nodded in agreement.
“It suits him,” the queen declared.
The king grinned. “Prince Taehyung it is.”
Jungkook sighed, realizing there was no arguing against them.
“And what about her?” Yoongi asked, gesturing toward the smaller dragon
still cradled in the king’s arms.
The royal couple hummed in thought before engaging in a brief but lively
discussion, almost bickering like children over the perfect name.
Finally, the queen clapped her hands together. “Princess Nyla.”
The king nodded in approval. “It’s settled.”
Jungkook and Yoongi exchanged amused looks before turning back to the two
newest members of the royal family. The moment felt surreal, like witnessing
the first step toward something far greater than any of them could yet
comprehend.
Prince Taehyung and Princess Nyla—two beings who would shape the future of
the dragon realm.
And Jungkook had a feeling their story was only just beginning.
Chapter 26: Training the Brats
The sun barely peeked over the horizon as Jungkook and Yoongi made their way
to the royal training grounds, a vast private land on the same mountain as the
palace. It was an untouched sanctuary, filled with thick forests, open fields,
and rugged terrain, all designed for the training of newborn dragons in the
royal bloodline.
This place had remained empty for centuries, waiting for the day a new
generation would finally arrive. Today, that day had come.
As they stepped onto the sacred land, they could still hear the distant
echoes of celebration coming from the palace. Even from here, the people of
Dragon Land were rejoicing for the birth of their prince and princess, a
miracle that had rekindled hope in their kingdom. Commander had informed them
that the celebration would last for an entire week. The palace was overflowing
with relatives, ministers, and dignitaries, all eager to bless and see the
newborns. Some had expressed curiosity about how such a miracle had happened
after centuries of hopeless waiting, but the King and Queen had expertly
diverted their questions with well-crafted stories.
Yet, while the palace bustled with joy and excitement, Jungkook and Yoongi
found themselves in a different kind of battle—one against the three brats,
also known as Niki, Mili, and Spark.
“Alright, listen up, you little troublemakers!” Yoongi clapped his hands,
glaring at the three baby dragons who were currently rolling around in the
grass, completely ignoring him. “Today marks the beginning of your training, so
you better—HEY! Get back here, Niki!”
Before he could finish, Niki, the green dragon, had leaped into the air,
using his tiny wings to propel himself toward a tree, grabbing onto a thick
branch with his claws.
Mili, the golden dragon, took that as her cue to bolt in the opposite
direction, kicking up dust as she ran circles around Jungkook, making him
dizzy.
Meanwhile, Spark, the only white dragon and the sole male of the three,
simply lay down on his back, yawning dramatically as if to say, Training?
Not my problem.
Bam, who was supposed to help, was lying lazily in the shade of a nearby
rock, watching the chaos unfold with disinterest.
“Are you kidding me right now?” Jungkook groaned as Mili hopped onto his
back and nibbled on his hair. “Mili, stop! I’m not your chew toy!”
Mili huffed and jumped off him, only to dart toward Spark and tug on his
wing, trying to get him to join her in mischief. Spark swatted her away with
his tail before stretching and rolling over to face the sun.
“THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!” Yoongi shouted as he attempted to climb the tree
after Niki, who was hanging upside down from the branch, staring at him with
playful defiance. “Jungkook, do something!”
Jungkook, still trying to get Mili to behave, turned toward Bam. “Are you
seriously just going to lie there?”
Bam blinked at him before closing his eyes, clearly unbothered.
Yoongi finally reached Niki, but just as he was about to grab him, the green
dragon let go of the branch on purpose, flapping his small wings just enough to
land safely on the ground, leaving Yoongi clinging to the tree.
“OH, COME ON!” Yoongi shouted as he scrambled down, furious.
Mili, now tired of playing, decided it was time to cause real trouble. She
gathered a small spark of golden fire in her mouth before spitting it directly
at Jungkook’s feet, making him jump back in shock.
“Did she just try to set me on fire?!” he gasped.
“She’s testing her powers,” Yoongi sighed, dusting off his clothes. “And
testing us.”
Jungkook stared at the three dragons, who were now sitting together in a
row, tails flicking as if they had won some kind of battle. “This isn’t
training… this is survival.”
Despite their frustration, neither of them could deny the intelligence and
spirit of these young dragons. They were strong, quick, and full of
personality. Training them would be tough, but it would also be an adventure.
After hours of failed training attempts, they finally gave up for the day,
exhausted beyond belief. With the brats still running wild, they made their way
back to the palace, dragging their feet. Even Bam followed them at a leisurely
pace, looking far more refreshed than they did.
The moment they stepped into their chambers, Jungkook collapsed onto his
bed, not even bothering to change out of his training clothes. Sleep hit him
instantly, and he didn’t stir even once.
Meanwhile, the palace had begun to quiet down. Most of the guests had left,
though a few important figures had been allowed to stay. However, the King and
Queen had arranged for them to reside in another wing of the palace, ensuring
that Jungkook and Yoongi wouldn’t be disturbed.
Little did they know, their true challenges were only just beginning.
Chapter 27: Training the Trouble Makers
Training those little troublemakers was nothing like easy. After struggling
for days, Jungkook and Yoongi finally managed to get the baby dragons to focus.
The three were growing faster than expected—now two months old, they had
already reached Jungkook and Yoongi’s height. With their growth, their
awareness of their powers had also increased, and it led to chaos more than
once.
One particularly disastrous incident occurred when Mili, in a fit of
frustration during a playful bicker, released a burst of fire. The flames
quickly spread, nearly setting the entire forest ablaze. Panic had barely
settled in before Spark instinctively reacted, freezing the burning trees just
in time. Though the fire was extinguished, the damage had been done. Jungkook
and Yoongi were furious. They refused to speak to the dragons for two whole
days, letting them stew in their guilt.
The silent treatment worked. The once-reckless brats finally realized how
serious their training was. Though they still had their moments of brattiness,
they were now making an effort to control their powers and not use them
randomly. Their progress over the past month had been impressive.
Meanwhile, the royal dragons, Taehyung and Nyla, were growing under the
watchful care of the King and Queen. They remained the most protected secret of
the royal family, and the land was still celebrating their miraculous birth.
The festivities had ended, but the palace remained lively with the few guests
who stayed behind.
After finishing another exhausting day of training, Jungkook and Yoongi were
finally satisfied with the dragons’ progress. As a reward, they took the trio
to their newly arranged living quarters—an area designed for the grown-up
dragons to have more space and freedom. After spending some time there, Jungkook
and Yoongi returned to the palace, discussing what aspects of training needed
more focus.
“Tomorrow, we should start combat drills,” Yoongi said, rubbing his neck
tiredly.
Jungkook nodded. “Yeah, and maybe some flight control training too. Spark
still dives too fast.”
After bidding Yoongi bye, Jungkook made his way to his chamber, already
dreaming about collapsing onto his bed. However, as soon as he entered his
room, he froze in shock.
A baby dragon was running around inside.
Jungkook’s eyes widened as he took a step closer. The little dragon stopped,
turning to face him, and those unmistakable crystal-blue eyes locked onto his.
“…Taehyung?” Jungkook hesitated before calling his name.
At the sound of his voice, the baby dragon immediately trotted towards him,
nudging its head into Jungkook’s stomach with a soft coo.
Jungkook giggled, running his hand over the dragon’s soft scales. “What are
you doing here, huh?” he asked, amused.
Taehyung simply nuzzled against him again, letting out another soft coo as
if answering. Jungkook laughed, sitting down beside him, enjoying the little
moment.
Not long after, the Queen entered the room, looking slightly out of breath,
as if she had been running. “There you are,” she sighed in relief. “We were
about to start training him and his sister, but he ran away before we could
even begin.”
Jungkook looked down at the baby dragon. “So, you were running away from
training, huh?” he teased.
Taehyung let out another innocent coo, tilting his head cutely. Jungkook and
the Queen both chuckled at the adorable reaction.
Shaking her head with a fond smile, the Queen bent down to scoop Taehyung
up. “Come on, little one, no skipping training.”
Taehyung let out a tiny whimper but obediently clung to his mother as she
carried him away. Jungkook watched them go, still grinning to himself.
With the unexpected excitement over, he finally lay down, exhaling deeply.
Tomorrow was another day of training, and at least this time, he wouldn’t be
the only one dealing with a mischievous baby dragon.
Chapter 28: The Unexpected Transformation
A year had passed since Jungkook and Yoongi began training with the dragons.
In just one short year, the once-small troublemakers had grown into massive,
powerful beings, large enough to carry them on their backs with ease. Their
training was sharpening their skills, making them stronger and more
disciplined—but their mischievous nature had only grown worse.
Jungkook still shuddered at the memory of the time he casually complained
about the heat, only for Spark to trap him inside an ice sphere. He had nearly
frozen solid if not for Yoongi, who managed to stop Spark and get Mili to
slowly melt the ice. These little incidents were becoming a daily occurrence,
and despite the challenges, Jungkook couldn’t imagine his life without them
now.
Meanwhile, Bam had grown older, spending most of his time resting in his
chamber. Even the playful dragons, who once teased him relentlessly, now sat
quietly beside him, offering silent companionship. If any outsider witnessed
the sight of three enormous dragons sitting solemnly around the aging hound,
they wouldn’t believe it. But to Jungkook and Yoongi, it was a testament to
their deep, unspoken bond.
Today, Jungkook was resting at the training ground, Taehyung curled up in
his lap as he absentmindedly stroked the dragon's sleek head. He had sustained
a minor injury during training earlier, prompting Yoongi to insist he sit out
while he took the others to the forest for more drills. It was a perfect
opportunity for Niki, who loved the wilderness, to stretch her wings.
Over the past year—equivalent to nearly twelve years for newborn dragons—Jungkook
had grown incredibly close to Taehyung. The royal dragon prince had yet to
shift into his human form, but the day was approaching. And more often than
not, Taehyung would escape his lessons just to find Jungkook, curling up beside
him like a loyal shadow. Jungkook, too, found himself cherishing their moments
together. There was something different about Taehyung, something that made his
presence feel warm and familiar in a way Jungkook couldn’t quite explain.
Meanwhile, the mischievous green-eyed princess had developed an obsession
with Yoongi, often fighting with Niki for his attention. The first time it
happened, Yoongi had gawked in disbelief before dramatically asking Jungkook, "Am
I really that handsome that a royal princess is fighting over me?"
Jungkook had laughed so hard that his stomach hurt for days.
Now, as Jungkook absentmindedly petted Taehyung’s head, lost in thought, he
suddenly noticed something odd.
His lap felt… lighter.
The texture beneath his palm wasn’t the usual thick dragon scales—it was
soft. Like… hair?
What the—fuck?
Jungkook's eyes snapped open.
The moment he registered what was sprawled across his lap, a loud, horrified
scream erupted from his mouth, echoing through the entire training ground.
Guards stationed nearby heard his cry and rushed to the scene. Their eyes
widened in shock as they took in the sight before them—
Their dragon prince, Taehyung, had shifted into his human form for the first
time.
And he was completely naked.
Jungkook, still sitting frozen in place, had his hands slapped over his
face, too mortified to even look. His entire body burned
with embarrassment.
One of the guards, realizing the severity of the situation, hastily removed
his cape and draped it over Taehyung’s bare body. Another guard turned on his
heels and sprinted off to call the commander.
Minutes later, the commander arrived, his face twisted in urgency—only for
that expression to quickly change to one of barely concealed amusement when he
took in the scene before him.
Jungkook was still red with embarrassment, his hands covering his face like
his life depended on it. Taehyung, still fast asleep, was oblivious to the
chaos he had caused. The guards looked awkward yet entertained, and the entire
situation was undeniably ridiculous.
The commander let out a deep chuckle, shaking his head. “Well, Jungkook,” he
mused, crossing his arms, “I suppose congratulations are in order. Looks like
our prince has finally decided to embrace his human form.”
Jungkook groaned, refusing to lift his head. Why did this have to
happen to him?!
Jungkook sat on the edge of his bed, still feeling the remnants of
embarrassment from earlier. The sight of Taehyung shifting into his human
form—completely naked—had shaken him to his core. His mind was a mess,
replaying the moment over and over again. The amused expression on the
commander’s face didn’t help either. Jungkook groaned, covering his face with
his hands before shaking his head and standing up. He needed to relax.
Without wasting any more time, he grabbed a fresh robe and walked towards
the private bathhouse connected to his chamber. The moment he stepped inside,
the warmth of the water and the soft scent of herbs instantly calmed his
nerves. Shedding his clothes, he slowly submerged himself into the large bath,
the soothing water enveloping his tense muscles. With a deep sigh, he closed
his eyes, letting his mind drift into tranquillity.
The bathhouse was silent except for the faint ripples of water. His body
relaxed, and he found himself on the verge of dozing off.
Then, he felt movement in the water.
His eyes fluttered open, and his breath hitched as he noticed a figure
approaching him from the opposite side of the bath. The dim candlelight
flickered, casting soft shadows over the man’s sculpted physique as he waded
through the water. His skin was golden, glistening under the glow, and his
dark, wet hair clung to his forehead. His expression was unreadable—serious
yet… mesmerizing.
Jungkook froze in place, unable to move or even process what was happening.
The man stopped just in front of him, their bodies barely an inch apart. Jungkook
felt his heart pounding wildly in his chest.
The stranger raised a hand, fingers trailing up to cup Jungkook’s cheek, his
touch cool from the water. Jungkook inhaled sharply, his body reacting before
his mind could even register it. A shiver ran down his spine as the man’s other
hand snaked around his waist, pulling him closer.
“What… what are you doing?” Jungkook stammered, voice barely above a
whisper.
The stranger said nothing, his piercing gaze locked onto Jungkook’s. Slowly,
he leaned in, his lips mere centimetres away. Jungkook’s breath hitched, his
body tensing yet unable to pull away. He could feel the warmth of the man’s
breath against his lips, the anticipation sending a strange thrill through him.
Then—
Their lips brushed.
What the fuc—
Jungkook’s eyes widened as he jolted awake, his heart racing as if he had
run for miles. His body was still submerged in the bath, steam rising around
him, but he was alone.
A dream.
His breath came in rapid gasps as he touched his own lips, his face heating
up in embarrassment. What kind of dream was that?! And why did it feel so real?
He groaned, sinking lower into the water, cursing the universe for making his
day even more humiliating.
With a huff, he quickly got out of the bath, wrapping a towel around
himself. His mind was in utter chaos. Who was that man? And why did he feel so
familiar?
More importantly, why did Jungkook feel like this dream… wasn’t just a
dream?
Chapter 29: The Royal Encounter
Jungkook hurried through the grand hallways of the palace, his footsteps
echoing against the marble floors. A guard had informed him that the Queen
wished to see him immediately, and he was already late. His heart pounded as he
turned a corner, the expansive open balcony coming into view. Sunlight bathed
the area in a golden glow, casting soft shadows on the elegant furniture placed
for the Queen’s comfort. The sight before him, however, made him slow his pace
in surprise.
Seated gracefully on an ornately carved chair, the Queen was engaged in
conversation with Yoongi, her serene expression filled with warmth. But they
weren’t alone. Beside her, two young figures sat with straight backs, their
regal postures making it clear who they were.
The royal twins.
Jungkook felt his breath hitch for a moment. The first time he had seen
them, they were merely newborns in their dragon forms. Now, they sat in human
form, appearing around twelve years old, dressed in fine royal attire that
befitted their status. Princess Nyla, the young girl with striking green eyes,
had a soft pink blush dusting her cheeks as she gazed at Yoongi with
admiration, an innocent yet obvious fondness in her expression. Her small hands
clutched the folds of her dress shyly, as if hesitant to speak yet desperate to
be noticed. Meanwhile, her twin, Prince Taehyung, was the complete opposite.
Unlike his lively sister, the young prince sat with his head slightly bowed,
his hands folded neatly in his lap. His dark, piercing eyes seemed distant,
lost in deep thought, as if the world around him didn’t exist. Jungkook took a
step forward, about to announce his presence, when he caught something
peculiar—just the faintest flicker of movement on the prince’s lips. A smirk.
Small, almost imperceptible, but it was there. And it vanished the moment Jungkook
sat beside Yoongi.
The Queen, her elegant demeanour never wavering, turned towards Jungkook
with a gentle smile.
“I called you both here because I wanted you to officially meet the prince
and princess in their human forms. They shifted for the first time yesterday,”
she explained, her voice soft yet authoritative. She turned towards the twins
and gestured for them to introduce themselves properly.
Princess Nyla immediately brightened, her emerald eyes sparkling with
excitement. “It’s an honour to meet you, Jungkook and Yoongi oppa!” she
chirped, her enthusiasm directed mostly at Yoongi, who blinked in mild surprise
at the sheer intensity of her adoration. Jungkook smirked, nudging his friend
playfully, knowing well how shy Yoongi could get around overly expressive
people, especially girls.
But before Yoongi could react, the attention shifted to the prince.
Taehyung, however, didn’t seem as eager. He lifted his gaze slowly, meeting Jungkook’s
eyes with an expression that was both unreadable and mildly amused. His voice
was cool and detached as he finally spoke, “It’s nice to meet you, guardians.”
Something about his tone made Jungkook raise an eyebrow. There was no
warmth, no excitement—just quiet indifference. It irked him slightly, given how
much effort he and Yoongi had put into raising and training these dragons.
“Hey,” Jungkook scoffed, crossing his arms. “You don’t have to act like a
brat, you know. Yoongi and I practically raised you all this time. It’s rude to
talk to your elders like that.”
For the first time, the young prince fully looked at him, a flicker of
something unreadable in his eyes before his lips curled into a slow,
mischievous smirk.
“Should I call you Mommy then?”
The entire balcony fell into stunned silence. The words hung in the air,
thick with amusement on one end and sheer mortification on the other. Jungkook
froze, his brain short-circuiting at the absurdity of what he had just heard.
And then—
Laughter erupted.
The Queen chuckled behind her hand, while Yoongi outright doubled over in
laughter, his rare, deep laugh filling the air. Even Princess Nyla, who had
been completely fixated on Yoongi until now, giggled softly. Jungkook, on the
other hand, turned bright red.
“The hell?! What kind of nonsense—” He sputtered, gripping his hair in
frustration.
Taehyung merely leaned back with a cool expression, but his eyes gleamed
with mischief. “What?” he tilted his head mockingly. “You did raise me, didn’t
you? Should I not address you appropriately?”
Jungkook gritted his teeth, his entire face burning. “You’re just a
twelve-year-old brat! You should act like one!”
The prince leaned in slightly, his gaze locked onto Jungkook’s with a smirk
that held far too much confidence for a kid. “Or what? Will you punish me,
Mo...my?”
Jungkook nearly exploded. “WHAT THE FU—”
“Language,” Taehyung said smoothly, feigning innocence. “You shouldn’t curse
in front of kids.”
Yoongi and the Queen were now nearly crying from laughter, while Jungkook
sat there, seething and humiliated beyond belief. The young prince stood up,
dusting off his royal robes, before walking past Jungkook with a smirk. As he
left the balcony, he threw one last taunt over his shoulder.
“See you soon… Mommy.”
Jungkook’s eye twitched. “I AM NOT GOING TO CUDDLE YOU IF YOU COME RUNNING
TO ME LATER!” he shouted after him, fists clenched as he muttered every curse
he could think of under his breath.
Yoongi wiped a tear from his eye, patting Jungkook’s shoulder with a grin.
“I have to admit… he got you good.”
Jungkook groaned, covering his face with his hands. He had a feeling that
dealing with Prince Taehyung in his human form was going to be far worse than
when he was just a playful little dragon. And that thought alone exhausted him
beyond belief.
Chapter 30: The Runaway
Prince
The garden was serene, bathed in the golden hues of the late afternoon sun.
Soft petals drifted through the air, carried by a gentle breeze, while the
scent of fresh flowers filled the space. Jungkook sat comfortably on a carved
stone bench, his fingers idly running through the thick, silky hair of Taehyung,
the young dragon prince.
Taehyung lay curled up beside him, his head resting against Jungkook’s lap,
eyes half-lidded in contentment. It had become a routine for them—Taehyung
seeking out Jungkook whenever he could, and Jungkook, despite all the teasing,
indulging the young dragon with head pats and soft scratches.
“You’re getting lazier by the day,” Jungkook mused, scratching behind Taehyung’s
ear, which earned him a pleased hum from the boy. “At this rate, I’ll have to
start calling you a house cat instead of a dragon.”
Taehyung cracked one eye open and smirked. “Then you’d have to keep me
inside all the time, wouldn’t you?”
Jungkook rolled his eyes. “Brat.”
He was about to continue when Taehyung suddenly lifted his head, his entire
body tensing. The contentment in his eyes vanished, replaced by something
unreadable. Before Jungkook could ask what was wrong, the dragon prince bolted
upright and ran—straight toward the dense forest beyond the palace gardens.
“Taehyung!” Jungkook shouted, immediately getting to his feet. “What
the—where are you going?”
There was no response, no glance back, only the sound of quickened footsteps
fading into the trees. A deep sigh of frustration left Jungkook as he sprinted
after him, dodging past low branches and thick bushes.
“Taehyung, get back here!” Jungkook’s voice rang through the forest. “You
know you’re not supposed to run off like this! If I have to go in there and
find you, you won’t like what happens next!”
Silence.
Jungkook scowled. “Alright, fine. I’ll make you a deal. You come back now,
and I won’t tell Yoonie about this.”
Nothing.
“I’ll let you have extra dessert at dinner?”
Not even a rustle in the leaves.
Jungkook groaned, stopping near a large tree to catch his breath. He rested
his back against the rough bark, eyes fluttering shut as he tried to calm his
racing heart. “Stupid bratty dragon,” he muttered, running a hand through his
damp hair. “Making me chase him all over the place like a damn babysitter—”
His words were cut short when a sudden warmth wrapped around his waist.
Jungkook’s breath hitched.
The grip was strong—firm but not painful, fingers brushing lightly against
his skin. His body tensed, his instincts screaming at him to open his eyes, to
see who—or what—was there. But he found himself frozen, an eerie sensation of
losing control washing over him. He tried to move, to will his eyes open, but
his body refused to listen. It was as if something, or someone, held him in
place, keeping him from reacting.
Warm breath ghosted over his neck, sending a shiver down his spine. His body
reacted on its own, tilting his head slightly to the side, exposing more of his
bare skin. The sensation that followed was soft, featherlight kisses trailing
from his shoulder to the curve of his neck.
Jungkook’s breathing turned uneven. His mind felt sluggish, clouded, unable
to process what was happening. He knew the dragons were naturally taller than
humans, but the presence behind him felt even larger, stronger. Jungkook was
barely nineteen, still not at his full height, which already made him slightly
smaller than most humans his age. Even Taehyung, at only fourteen, was nearly
as tall as him.
Despite himself, Jungkook couldn’t deny the strange warmth curling in his
stomach. He didn’t want to admit it, but the soft kisses, warm breath against
his skin, and firm yet careful hold felt good. Too good. And that scared him.
Just as quickly as it began, the warmth disappeared.
Jungkook blinked rapidly, his senses finally returning. The strong grip on
his wrist was gone, and the presence that had overwhelmed him moments ago had
vanished. His heart pounded wildly as he tried to steady himself.
Then, a familiar voice called out.
“Jungkook!” Jungkook turned his head sharply, finding Taehyung standing a
few feet away, watching him with a smug smirk. For a second, Jungkook wondered
if it had all been a dream, a trick of his exhausted mind. But then he saw
it—the way Taehyung’s smirk deepened, the way his eyes glimmered with mischief.
Realization hit him like a brick.
“You—” Jungkook stomped forward, grabbing Taehyung by the ear. “You brat!
What the hell was that?! Taehyung winced, laughing despite the rough treatment.
“Ow, ow! What are you talking about, Jungkook?”
“Don’t play dumb with me! You ran off, and then—” Jungkook’s words faltered
as his face turned red. “Then—! You did something weird, didn’t you?”
Taehyung tilted his head, all too amused. “Weird? I was just calling you.
You were sleeping in a standing position.”
Jungkook’s grip tightened on his ear. “Don’t lie to me! That smirk tells me
everything I need to know!”
Taehyung chuckled, reaching up to pry Jungkook’s hand off his ear. “I have
no idea what you’re talking about.”
Jungkook hesitated, narrowing his eyes. “Wait... it couldn’t have been you,
could it? You’re only fourteen… and still learning how to control your powers.
There’s no way you could trick me like that.”
Taehyung shrugged innocently. “Exactly. I don’t even know what you’re
accusing me of, Jungkook, but I’m way too young to use any tricks on you.”
Jungkook frowned. He wanted to argue, but Taehyung was right. Even if the
dragon prince was training under the King himself, he wasn’t powerful enough to
pull something like that off. Besides, the person who had held him felt much
taller and far stronger than Taehyung, who was still slightly shorter than Jungkook
himself, and Jungkook knew that it wasn't the first time he felt something like
that. Is he going crazy? How can he even imagine a boy doing all that to him?
Something is definitely wrong.
A cold shiver ran down Jungkook’s spine.
If it wasn’t Taehyung… then who was it?
Taehyung smirked at the thoughtful look on Jungkook’s face before tugging on
his sleeve. “Come on, let’s go back. You look like you’re about to pass out
from overthinking.”
Jungkook glared at him but sighed, dragging the boy along. “Brat. If you
ever pull a stunt like that again—”
“I’ll be sure to go missing longer next time so that you can sleep more?” Taehyung
interrupted with a teasing grin.
Jungkook groaned. “I swear, you’re impossible.”
Taehyung only laughed as they made their way back to the palace, leaving Jungkook
to curse under his breath the entire way.
It was going to be a long, long day.
