Chapter 52: HIS LUNA
Two Weeks of Preparation
The atmosphere within the pack was suffocating. The weight of the upcoming
war pressed down on everyone like an impending storm, thick with electricity,
waiting to strike. Two weeks had passed since the battle at the rogue hideout,
and the scars from that day still lingered—not on their bodies, but in their
souls.
Taehyung stood at the training grounds, watching as warriors pushed
themselves past their limits, bodies drenched in sweat, muscles aching, but no
one dared to stop. Stopping was not an option—not when their very existence was
at stake.
Jungkook, clad in all black, moved like a shadow through the warriors, his
sharp eyes analyzing every movement. His body was sore from endless hours of
sparring, but his determination never wavered. The war drums hadn’t sounded
yet, but their rhythm pounded in his veins. He had fought battles before, but
this one—this one was different. It was not just a fight for survival. It was a
fight for freedom, for vengeance, for justice.
"Faster! Stronger!" Namjoon’s voice rang through the field, his
usually calm demeanor replaced by the commanding presence of a true leader.
"If you fall now, you will fall in battle! There is no mercy in war!"
The warriors roared in response, pushing harder, claws slashing, teeth
bared. Their bodies protested, but their spirits burned with unyielding fire.
Taehyung watched as Hoseok and Yoongi fought side by side, their movements
synchronized, their bond evident in every strike they delivered. They had
almost lost each other, and now, they fought like men possessed, as if
promising to never let that happen again.
Jimin, despite the trauma of his capture, had refused to sit on the
sidelines. His body was still healing, but his resolve was unshaken. He trained
with a ferocity none had seen before, his delicate features hardened with
purpose.
The witches had visited again, reinforcing their warnings. "Woosik
grows stronger each day," the eldest witch had said, her ancient voice
sending chills down their spines. "His forces are gathering. You must be
ready before the next full moon. There will be no second chance."
The days turned into nights, yet sleep never came easily. Even in the rare
moments of rest, the air buzzed with tension. Jungkook often found himself
lying awake, staring at the ceiling, Taehyung beside him, equally restless.
Their bond had grown stronger since the marking, their souls entwined in ways
beyond comprehension. And yet, the weight of what lay ahead settled heavily
between them.
"We’re ready," Jungkook whispered one night, his voice barely
audible over the wind. "We have to be."
Taehyung turned his head, golden eyes glowing in the dim light. "We
don’t have a choice."
Silence.
A deafening silence before the storm that threatened to consume them all.
Then came the night before battle.
All the pack's leader with their warriors gathered in the sacred clearing,
their faces hardened with determination. Namjoon stood at the center, his voice
steady as he addressed them.
"Tomorrow, we will fight not just for our packs or lives, but for the
future of our kind. For centuries, Woosik had ruled with cruelty, but not
again! We are not just warriors. We are wolves! And we will not bow to him!. We
will not bow to evil!. He will break tomorrow fully, and he will attack us any
time. Stay alert every moment. We will win. We have to, for our kids, our
future. We are in this together. We will die but won't accept slavery. Moon
goddess is with us. Evil will end soon. Let's create history
together!!!!!!"
The ground trembled with the force of their howls, a declaration to the
moon, to the gods, to the world itself.
The war was coming.
And they were ready to meet it head-on.
