Chapter 60: HIS LUNA
The Fall of Woosik
The ground trembled beneath them, the air thick with the stench of blood and
dark magic. The battlefield, once covered in shadows, now burned with the raw
power of two raging forces—one of darkness and one of divine strength.
Taehyung and Jungkook stood side by side, their true blood radiating an aura
so powerful that even the most fearsome warriors dared not approach. The moon
shone brightly above them, illuminating their forms—two beings of celestial
might, bound by fate and blessed by the Moon Goddess herself.
Woosik, standing across from them, let out a snarl, his expression twisted
with both rage and disbelief. His once-confident stance wavered as he took in
the sight before him—his countless minions, slaughtered mercilessly by Jungkook
alone, and now, the True Blood Alpha himself had arrived.
"This cannot be…" Woosik seethed, his fingers curling into fists,
dark energy crackling around him. "You should be on your knees, broken!
Your bond should be severed!"
Jungkook wiped the blood from his lips, a smirk playing at the corners of
his mouth. "Your black magic failed," he spat. "And now, you
will pay."
Woosik roared in fury, summoning every ounce of black energy left within
him. The witches around him chanted in a desperate attempt to empower him, but
something had shifted in the air—an invisible force pressing against the very
fabric of existence. It was them.
The True Blood Mates.
Taehyung took a step forward, golden irises glowing like burning suns.
"You made a mistake, Woosik," he said, voice calm yet lethal.
"You tried to take what is mine."
With a mere flick of his wrist, a gust of energy surged through the air,
throwing Woosik off balance. Jungkook wasted no time, launching himself at the
enemy with speed unnatural even for a wolf. Claws tore into flesh, and Woosik
howled in pain as he was forced back, his dark magic flickering like a dying
flame.
He fought back with every ounce of power he had left, sending jagged
tendrils of black energy toward the True Bloods. But Taehyung was faster. With
an effortless swipe, he dissipated the attack, his own aura growing brighter,
stronger. The force of his power cracked the earth beneath them, shaking the
very foundation of the cursed forest.
Jungkook lunged once more, fangs bared as he tore into Woosik’s shoulder,
sinking his teeth deep into his flesh. Woosik screamed, but the pain was
nothing compared to the agony that followed.
Taehyung stepped forward, eyes gleaming like molten gold, and placed a
clawed hand on Woosik’s chest. Instantly, Woosik's body convulsed as golden
light spread through him, burning away every last remnant of dark magic that
had kept him powerful.
"No!" Woosik shrieked, struggling, but it was useless. His limbs
trembled, his power draining with every passing second.
Jungkook stepped back, watching as Woosik fell to his knees, his once mighty
presence reduced to nothing but a trembling, powerless shell.
"This is for every wolf you enslaved, every life you destroyed,"
Taehyung whispered, his voice calm but filled with finality.
With a final surge of power, he plunged his claws deep into Woosik’s chest,
right where his corrupted heart lay. A deafening scream echoed through the
battlefield as golden energy engulfed him, erasing his very existence.
And then, silence.
The darkness lifted, the air finally clearing as Woosik’s lifeless body
crumbled to ash, carried away by the wind. The mark of his reign, his terror,
was no more.
Jungkook fell to his knees, exhaustion washing over him like a tidal wave.
Taehyung caught him before he collapsed completely, pulling him into his arms.
"It's over," Jungkook whispered, voice barely above a breath.
Taehyung held him close, pressing a gentle kiss to his temple. "We did
it."
As the warriors of their pack stormed into the ruins of the battlefield,
they were met not with war, but with victory. The rogues, freed from Woosik’s
control, collapsed, their tormented souls finally at peace. The witches who had
aided him fled into the night, their power broken along with their master.
The war was over.
And the True Blood Mates had won.
But as the dust settled, Taehyung tightened his hold on Jungkook, his heart
hammering in his chest.
Because he knew.
This was just the beginning.
